Our Story
After qualifying with a City & Guilds in Furniture Making over 25 years ago, I spent many years creating bespoke furniture for friends and family, developing a passion for crafting beautiful, high-quality pieces built to last.

That passion led me to open my workshop in the market town of Wendover, nestled at the foot of the Chiltern Hills in Buckinghamshire, where we now create handcrafted furniture for customers across the UK.​​
​​Every item is made to order using carefully selected timber, quality fixings, and durable finishes. Because we don’t hold stock, each piece is individually crafted to your specifications, making every order truly unique.​
As the business has grown, so has the team. Sam joined in January 2025 and James in September 2025. Both have been fully trained to the same high standards and share the same commitment to quality craftsmanship.

And in May 2026 we rebranded from Handmade in Bucks to Solid Craft Furniture LTD
